ASEO is providing you here with answers to the most frequently asked questions:
“What is the main difference between your stab vests and other stab vests?”
Our stab vests are absolutely unique and made out of 4mm thin Polycarbonate Plates molded to your upper body shape, offering you Home Office certified stab protection as well as unrivalled 100% blunt trauma protection from kicks, punches and blows from any offensive instrument. Something we believe is more likely to happen than being faced by an aggressor armed with an edged weapon.
“Should we wear covert or overt stab vests?”
We at ASEO very much focus on promoting covert stab vests above overt stab vests. Overt stab proof vests are often perceived as more confrontational especially by intoxicated individuals. Secondly we wish to point out that a potential aggressor is more likely to attack your facial or head area if you wear an overt body armour. You should be able to do your job without indicating your concern about your personal safety.
“Are all products offering knife protection?”
All stab vests and knife and slash resistant garments manufactured by ASEO offer knife protection to the stated level. Bullet proof vests offer also knife protection, but we cannot provide you with exact technical details on the level of knife protection.
“Do you offer a made to measure service?”
Yes, we do. However, our extensive body armour range covers all sizes from XS to XXXXL and in general terms that’s good enough. Our made to measure service is available at an extra cost of £50.00 per body armour.
“Does your slash resistant clothing range offer stab protection?”
No, our slash resistant clothing range or knife resistant clothing range does not offer stab protection and are not stab proof. Our slash resistant t-shirts offer excellent knife protection from most kitchen, combat and Stanley knifes.
“What is the difference between your slash resistant clothing range and the one from…?”
All of our competitors are using a textile called DuPont Kevlar. We have however decided to use a material called Spectra, known to be 40% stronger and 40% lighter than the best Kevlar in the world. We at ASEO felt that more and more individuals on the street seem to use Stanley knives, which creates a much higher risk of being dangerously slashed. Spectra will offer you the highest slash protection level.
“What is the main difference between your stab vests and your slash resistant clothing range?”
The main difference is that our stab vests offer Home Office certified stab protection. Our knife resistant clothing offer great slash protection only.
“Is there a difference between knife resistant clothing, slash resistant clothing or anti slash clothing?”
No, all products are the same. Different keywords are used simply to create more website traffic.
“Would you be willing to come to see us and demonstrate the products so we can have a feel and look at the stab vests and knife resistant clothing?”
Yes, of course. We would be delighted to come to see you at your facility at a time that is most convenient for you. This would be a great opportunity for you to ask our consultant any potential questions you or your team might have.
“Could you offer us the knife resistant clothing products with our companies/councils or NHS Trusts logo embroided?”
Yes, we are happy to offer this service subject to an additional cost. A minimum order quantity will however apply.
